Babygrande Golf will bring its Inside The Ropes coverage to the 48th Macdonald Cup, hosted by Yale University September 26–27 at the historic Yale Golf Course in New Haven, Connecticut.

This year’s Macdonald Cup carries additional significance as competition returns to Yale Golf Course during its centennial year. Opened in 1926, the course was designed by Seth Raynor with significant influence from legendary golf architect Charles Blair Macdonald and has long been recognized as one of the landmark works of early American golf course architecture.

In 2024, renowned architect Gil Hanse began a comprehensive restoration designed to recapture the scale, strategy and architectural intent of the original course. The restored Yale Golf Course reopened in 2026 in conjunction with its 100th anniversary.
